We’ll begin together with the Initial Behavior Consultation.
This is where I’ll get to know you and your cat and we’ll talk through what’s been happening, including your cat’s history, behavior, and what you’ve been observing.
As we explore the details, I’ll look more closely at what may be a contributing factor and use what we learn to develop an individualized plan.
Before wrapping up, we’ll discuss next steps and whether follow-up sessions would be beneficial based on your goals and your cat’s individual needs.
Initial Behavior Consultation
60-90 minutes, virtual - $210
Before our first meeting, I'll send you a detailed questionnaire tailored to your cat for you to complete and send back ahead of our appointment.
Our conversation will build on what you've shared. We'll go through the details that help me understand the situation, follow up on anything that may give more context, and consider what might be affecting how your cat interacts with the world.
What’s going on?
Depending on what we learn about your cat, we may focus on adjustments to their environment or routine, management strategies, enrichment, training, behavior modification, or likely a combination of approaches.
When training or behavior modification is part of the plan, I'll coach you through each step. I use gradual, humane, science-based approaches that encourage your cat's choice and agency.
What can we change?
After our consultation, you'll know what to focus on first and have a clear place to start.
I'll send you a written summary of our discussion, a customized behavior plan with clear next steps, and any additional resources that may be helpful.
You'll also have 14 days of email and text support as you begin putting the recommendations into practice.
What comes next?
Behavior Follow-Up
45—60 minutes, virtual - $120
Behavior change takes time and in many cases, additional sessions are beneficial to making sure your cat is on the right track.
We’ll build on what we discussed in your initial consultation, address any new questions or developments, and update your cat’s behavior plan as needed.
